PERSONAL LIFE
Dan Kossmann worked his way through college and law school to achieve his educational goals. It wasn’t always easy but it was worth it.

During his first year of college at the University of Wisconsin in Madison his family moved to the Dallas area. Unable to afford out-of-state tuition he worked construction for a year then returned to school to earn an undergraduate degree with honors from the University of North Texas. Since he was originally from Wisconsin, Dan went back to the Midwest to attend law school only to return to marry a girl he met in Texas. Dan and his wife were married in 1983 and reside in Dallas.

Last but not least, Dan is a sports enthusiast and enjoys watching everything from college and professional football and basketball to tennis and golf. He also devotes much of his free time as a volunteer working with animals at Operation Kindness No-Kill Animal Shelter in Carrollton.
